I didn’t choose yoga. It was injuries that led me to it.

For years, sports were my life. Golf, surfing, tennis, padel, swimming… I loved pushing my limits and spending as much time as possible in motion.

Until the day my body told me to slow down. After several years of intense practice of sports, I developed a nerve problem in my neck and back. For several months, pain was a constant part of my daily life. The solutions offered were cortisone injections, surgery… or trying yoga. I was far from convinced. Yoga didn’t match the image I had of it at all.

Yet, when I walked through the door of a studio in 2015 at Bondi Beach in Sydney, I discovered a practice that would profoundly transform the way I move, breathe, and take care of myself. My name is Pierre-Edouard, but everyone calls me Eddy. As a Franco-Australian, I’ve lived on the French Riviera, in California, and in Sydney, where I spent fourteen years.

See you soon on the mat to move together and feel great.

Yoga Philosophy

I believe that yoga isn’t meant to change who you are. It’s there to help you fully experience the things you already love.

Whether it’s surfing a wave, running, playing with your kids, or simply waking up without pain, yoga is a tool to help you move better, breathe better, and recover better.

My approach is simple, accessible, and not focused on performance. Every body is different, and so is every practice.

My goal isn’t for you to achieve a perfect pose, but for you to leave with a freer body, a calmer mind, and the desire to come back.

Yoga & Surfing

Surfing is a demanding activity that puts a lot of strain on your body. As you log more sessions, tension builds up, mobility decreases, and the risk of injury increases.

Yoga has become my best ally for surfing longer and recovering faster.

Designed specifically for surfers, my yoga sessions aid recovery after several hours in the water. These exercises will help you release tension, restore mobility in your shoulders, back, and hips, improve your breathing, and maintain the quality of your movements.

The goal is simple: to surf longer and prevent injuries.

Beyond the physical benefits, yoga develops body awareness, balance, concentration, and breath control: essential qualities for any surfer, which I experienced firsthand in Chile, particularly at Punta de Lobos.
